We now know a little more about that white styrofoam that washed ashore in Barber’s Point.
DLNR officials say the styrofoam is part of a floating dock that came from either Pearl Harbor or Keehi Lagoon.
State crews will take samples Monday and will send them to Department of Health for examination.
An environmentalist found the debris on Friday.
He said it covered at least a quarter mile of the beach.
