Police have contra-flowed a section of Kamehameha Highway near Kahana Bay as crews work to clear a downed utility pole.
Police say a single-car crash brought down the pole. EMS officials say the driver of the car involved in the crash was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
No word yet on when the road will reopen.
