Police have closed both directions of Kamehameha Highway in Waikane Valley, near Waihee Road, because of a downed pole that is blocking the roadway.
Traffic is being rerouted at Waihee Road.
The road has been closed since about 4:40 a.m., while crews work to remove the pole. It is unknown when the road will reopen.
