The Hanawana Land Bridge, which was damaged during heavy rains in March 8, is now fixed.
Senator Kalani English said the work was completed Friday.
The land bridge was built about 100 years ago off Hana Highway. Part of it collapsed into a river during severe March weather. Rougly 40 residents in the rural area have been struggling trying to get to other parts of the island, as the bridge serves as a lifeline for the people who live there.
