Economists: All Americans will feel the fiscal cliff without a deal

WASHINGTON (AP) – Economists say that if there’s no deal to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff in January, pretty much everyone will go over the edge. Economists say the it would hit hard enough to throw the economy back into recession, raise the unemployment rate above 9 percent and cost middle income families about $2,000 more next year.
