Editorial: Entice specialists to care for seniors

Hawaii has the longest life expectancy in the United States — and that’s a good thing, reflecting our healthier residents, on average, as compared with others. However, there’s a growing gap between the numbers of seniors and the distribution of medical professionals who provide geriatric care, and it’s setting off alarm bells.
