Editorial: Feral cat problem needs fixing, now

On an island, especially one smack in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, there are few greater threats to the survival of native flora and fauna than introduced species. Through predation, competition for shared resources, disease and contamination, these foreign transplants can rapidly decimate local ecosystems brought to equilibrium over hundreds or thousands of years.
