A 76-year-old man is in serious condition after being hit by a car while crossing the road.
It happened around 7:10 a.m. Wednesday morning at the intersection of Aala Street and Vineyard Boulevard.
According to police, the man was in a crosswalk and had the green light to walk when he was struck by a car, driven by an 81-year-old man, making a left turn onto Vineyard Boulevard.
The road was closed while police investigated the accident it was reopened around 8 a.m.
