A missing hiker was found safe Sunday morning after being separated from her hiking group Saturday afternoon.
According to Maui Fire officials, the 75-year-old woman was hiking with others in La Perouse, Maui when she became separated from her group.
She was reported missing at about 8 p.m. Fire crews searched the area for several hours before deciding to resume their search at first light.
Officials returned for the area at 5:45 a.m. Sunday morning and were able to locate the woman at about 7:50 a.m.
Officials was the woman was in good shape and did not sustain any injuries.
