A fallen tree has knocked out power to about 2,000 customers in Kaneohe, Hawaiian Electric officials say.
Officials say the outage was reported at about 1:45 p.m.
The power outage also knocked out power to Windward Mall, causing the mall to close for about an hour. Mall officials say it was reopened at approximately 3 p.m.
It is unknown when power will be restored to all affected customers.
