Family awarded $4.2 M after Waianae man with sore throat dies at clinic

A mistake in the emergency room cost a 32-year-old west Oahu man his life.  A judge just approved a settlement worth more than $4.2 million to his family.  But what’s unusual about this case is that officials at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Heath Center took responsibility for the tragedy.
