FBI officials say it happened Monday, January 9, 2012 around 7:30 a.m. on a Delta Airlines flight from Tokyo to Honolulu.
Officials arrested a 65 year-old Japanese citizen when the flight landed at Honolulu Airport.
He is scheduled to have his initial appearance in Honolulu U.S. District Court at 3:30 p.m. today before Magistrate Judge Puglisi.
