The Honolulu Fire Department and U.S. Coast Guard are looking for a possible lost diver off Kaaawa Beach Park.
They say three paddle boarders earlier Thursday discovered a floating blue kayak with diving gear in it, with no persons aboard.
The discovery was made at about 3 p.m.
HFD has shoreline searchers and a rescue helicopter deployed, while the Coast Guard has Coast Cutter Ahi and a rescue helicopter searching for the possible lost diver.
Authorities ask that anyone with information concerning the kayak please contact the Coast Guard Command Center at 842-2600.
