A portable building on the University of Hawaii at Manoa Campus was destroyed by a fire Sunday morning.
It happened on Lower Campus Road around 8:00 a.m. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control within about 20 minutes.
School officials at the scene say the building had been used for administrative purposes.
Fire officials estimate the total damage to the building and it’s contents to be $600,000.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
