Officials are asking for the public’s help in any information involving an adrift windsurfing sail that was spotted off Black Point Sunday afternoon.
The call came in just before 4 p.m., for a sail that could have been attached to a windsurfing rig.
The Coast Guard, Fire Department, and Ocean Safety looked in waters from the Waikiki-Diamond Area to offshore Kahala for a possible missing person.
They suspended the search before 9 p.m.
