Retail gas prices fell again over the past week throughout Hawaii, including by 12 cents a gallon in Hilo, according to the AAA Hawaii Weekend Gas Watch.
The Hawaii state average for regular unleaded dropped by seven cents during the week to $4.24 per gallon which also was 11 cents less than last month and eight cents lower than last year.
Honolulu’s average price dropped to $4.17 a gallon for regular unleaded – six cents less than last week, 17 cents less than last month and 14 cents higher than a year ago.
In Hilo, the average gas price is $4.24 a gallon, down 12 cents from last week, 14 cents less than last month and eight cents more than this time last year.
Wailuku’s average is $4.39 a gallon, eight cents less than last week, 13 cents less than last month and four cents lower than last year.
