Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa opened her campaign headquarters in Kalihi Saturday.
She running again for her first congressional district seat, which covers urban Honolulu.
"How the 21st century grows, the economic base as it defines itself, is gonna be tied to this region. That is why we need people in Washington D.C. who have the vision of what it’s gonna look like," she says.
Hanabusa will face Republican challenger Charles Djou in the election.
