Hundreds visited the Polynesian Cultural Center last night for the grand opening of the Haunted Lagoon.
The creepy canoe ride takes visitors into the world of the Laie lady and her band of ghouls giving some thrill seekers quite a fright.
"I never thought I’d would of screamed but it made me scream a lot and unexpectedly, I enjoyed it, I’d recommend the haunted lagoon to anybody. We’re coming back with our children," said Pua Kamealoha-Gomes, a thrill seeker.
The Haunted Lagoon is open through Halloween. A ticket is about $20.
