Hawaiian language interpreters begin courtroom training

A telescope protester who asserted his right to speak Hawaiian in court earlier this year has been granted an interpreter in Wailuku District Court, according to The Maui News. In the meantime the state is working to train more interpreters that can speak Hawaiian.
