Hawaiian Telcom says it will implement its last, best, final offer for hundreds of union workers.
The company says the union has rejected its offers, and it is following procedures to declare an impasse.
With that, it will implement the last contract offer on December 1.
The union says Hawaiian Telcom has not been bargaining in good faith.
Earlier this month, union members walked off the job for two days.
So far there’s no indication that they will strike, but the union is asking all other unions to boycott the company until it bargains in good faith.
