Hawaiian Telcom union workers vote to authorize strike

Union workers at Hawaiian Telcom have voted to authorize a strike.

Sources say the vote was 513 in favor and 85 opposed.

The company says it has contingency plans in place.

APEC events twice, but the union declined those offers.

Union leaders from the IBEW 1357 would not comment.
