Hawaii’s Most Wanted: Malea McKnight

On this edition of Hawaii’s Most Wanted, we feature a woman who’s wanted on two warrants.

Honolulu police are looking for Malea McKnight.

"On April 10, 2006, security at the Outrigger Malia Hotel entered a room because the registered guest hadn’t checked out. After several attempts of phone calls, knocking on the door, they decided to enter and observed the male and female sleeping on the bed, and through checking on the room, there was drug and drug paraphernalia strewed all over the place," said Sgt. Kim Buffett of CrimeStoppers.

McKnight was arrested for several drug offenses. She was also arrested for assault later that year.

"On December 31, 2006 McKnight and a boyfriend got into an argument while walking on Manager’s Drive.  He refused to stop. She stabbed him in the shoulder," Buffett says.

She’s now wanted on two $20,000 warrants in connection with those cases, for not complying with the terms of HOPE probation.
Malea McKnight is 30 years old,  5’8" tall, 125 pounds.

"She does have two prior convictions and she’s known to frequent the Waipahu area," Buffett says.

If you know where Malea McKnight is call Crimestoppers at 955-8300.
