Honolulu police are looking for Shankel Torricer, who is wanted on a warrant in connection with a robbery case.
"On May 22, 2010, at about 3:10 p.m. the victim was walking near Pearl Ridge going to the bus stop when he was confronted by five males. One of the males assaulted him, grabbed his baseball cap and fled," said Sgt. Kim Buffett, Crimestoppers.
A passerby stopped his vehicle and confronted the group.
"The passerby continued on his way and observed the male that assaulted the vicitim and called police," said Buffett.
The suspect was positively identified as Torricer and was arrested for robbery in the second degree. Torricer is now wanted on a $20,000 warrant for failing to comply with conditions of HOPE probation.
"He is a 20-year-old male, 5’10, 141 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, and he’s known to frequent out in that Pearl Ridge area," said Buffett.
