High schools gather for Honolulu science fairy Saturday

Twenty-three Honolulu area schools will participate in this year’s Honolulu District Science Fair Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at Kapiolani Community College.

Fifty high school projects and 129 middle school projects have entered in the day-long event, which is open to the public.. 

The fair is modeled after the International Science and Engineering Fair and the Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair. It is a joint effort between the Honolulu District and the Kapiolani Community College.
