The National Weather Service issued a high surf advisory for north and west facing shores of Kauai and Molokai; north and east facing shores of Oahu, and north facing shores of Maui.
The advisory remains in effect through 6 p.m. Monday.
A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in the advisory area, producing rip currents and localized beach erosion.
