A local bakery stole the show in Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars.”
Hokulani Bake Shop’s general manager Angela Chandler and lead baker Nicole Ferriman competed with bakers from around the country.
In the end, it was Hokulani’s overall taste and presentation that helped them win.
Chandler and Ferriman won the sweet $10,000 prize.
And their cupcake display will also be featured at the Screamfest event in California.
Hokulani has three locations on Oahu.
They’re at Restaurant Row, Pioneer Plaza in downtown and at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki.
