Homeless ordered to remove property

In the first large-scale application of a new city ordinance barring people from storing tents, furniture, clothing and other personal items in public areas, officials gave written notices to 44 homeless campers in the McCully-Moiliili area Monday to remove their items or have them hauled to the Halawa base yard today.
