A Honolulu police found himself in the hospital after he was involved in a traffic accident.
Police say the solo bike officer was on the shoulder lane on Farrington Highway, approaching Hakimo Road, when another car making a legal right turn hit him.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
No word if the officer was heading to a call or if he was speeding.
He was taken to the Queens Medical Center in good condition.
The other driver was not hurt.
