Honolulu police issued 175 citations in four hours Saturday in Leeward Oahu.
HPD’s Traffic Division conducted a Safer Roads operation at Farrington Highway and Leihoku Street in Waianae from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
A total of 175 citations were issued of which 45 were for seatbelt, 35 for child restraint violations, 38 for electronic mobile device, 22 for driving without a license, 14 no insurance, and the remainder for miscellaneous type violations. A total of 24 child seats were inspected.
