Honolulu police say a taxi driver was robbed of his vehicle and belongings by his passenger.
It happened early Tuesday morning.
Police say the taxi driver picked up his passenger in Waikiki and drove him to the Pearl Harbor area.
After arriving at their destination, the suspect allegedly brandished a weapon and took the taxi driver’s property and vehicle.
The suspect left the scene and abandoned the taxi a short distance away.
The taxi driver was not injured and police are still searching for the suspect.
