HPD releases surveillance photos of Mililani jewelry store robbery suspect

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department released images of a man suspected of an armed robbery of a Mililani jewelry store.

It happened Wednesday, January 18 at Gold Club and Gifts on Meheula Parkway.

Police say the suspect entered the store, asked to see some jewelry, and took out a handgun after the display case was opened.  

The victim attempted to run away and was chased and struck by the suspect.  

The male ran away into the residential area near the shopping center.

Height:      6’2”-6’4”

Weight:     260-270 lbs.

Clothing:  Blue long sleeve shirt, black long pants, and a black backpack
