The HPU large and small co-ed cheer teams took first place at Nationals once again.

This marks the tenth consecutive year the large squad has taken first, and the sixth consecutive year the small team has secured first place.

The squad flew over to Daytona Beach, Florida and on Friday won first place in the National Cheerleaders Association and National Dance Alliance Championships.

More than 5,000 student athletes, and thousands of spectators, met for the cheer-off. The competition is the largest college cheer and dance championship in the world.
