Hundreds gathered in Poipu, Kauai Sunday to remember big wave surfer, Sion Milosky.
He died on March 16, at the age of 35, while surfing at the well-known break "Mavericks" in California.
Waves were reportedly as high as 60-foot faces.
Milosky was born and raised on Kauai, and is survived by his wife and 2 children.
He made big news last winter for riding what was referred to as the biggest wave ever paddled into here on the North Shore.
