The state Department of Transportation advises Ewa residents of an expected increase in aircraft traffic over the area due to airfield maintenance work at the Honolulu International Airport.
Runway 8R/26L will be closed for airfield maintenance work on Friday morning, February 24, from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. During this time, flight patterns will be modified, resulting in increased air traffic over the Ewa Plains.
