Injured hiker sues Honolulu officers for alleged ‘brutal beating,’ falsifying reports 

An Oahu man says he was beaten by police after officers mistook him for a burglary suspect. He has now filed a civil suit, saying, a year and a half after the attack, he has received no compensation, no recognition — not even an apology for what happened.
