A Japanese tourist died Tuesday while attending a convention in Waikiki.
The city medical examiner identified him as Kazuo Maeda, 62, of Tokyo, Japan.
Police say Maeda fell ill and went unconscious. He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say there are no initial signs of foul play.
The case is pending an autopsy.
