Joe and Pat are reprising their roles nearly 11 years after appearing together at the Hawaii Theatre.
They may be an odd couple on stage, but who do they more closely identify with in real life… Oscar Madison or Felix Unger?
"And at one point we’re sitting together with our wives," said Moore. "And it had almost been decided that I was going to be Oscar and he was going to be Felix and Pat said what if I was Oscar and his wife chimes in, ‘No, no, honey you have to be Felix.’ My wife then says, ‘I don‘t know Joe’s a pretty good Felix‘ cuz they’re talking about real life. So as Pat said we’re both in real life are more Felix."
"The Odd Couple" at the Connecticut Repertory Theatre runs from June 21st through July 7th.
