A Kailua boy who had his wish granted is giving back.
Reece Goo was a recipient of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
He battled a malignant brain tumor and the group granted his wish to travel to Disney World this past summer.
Now, nearly a year in remission, Reece spearheaded an effort to collect as many letters as he can for Macy’s National Believe Day.
Not only did he get hundreds of letters, he helped surprise a girl by granting her wish.
Reece surprised Make-A-Wish recipient Taylor who got a trip to the Grammy Awards for her and her family.
Macy’s will donate $2 for every letter Reece collected.
