Kamehameha Schools searches for new headmaster

A New Jersey-based recruitment firm has been hired to help find a new headmaster for the Kamehameha Schools Kapalama campus.

Dr. Michael Chun is retiring in June of next year after 24 years in the headmaster position.

Kamehameha Schools says the search for a new leader will be an international one, with the help of consulting firm Wickenden Associates.

It starts with interviews with stake holders like faculty parents, students and alumni.

Kamehameha Schools hopes to select finalists for the position by November.
