The south leg of the Kapaa Temporary Bypass Road has been closed indefinitely between Kuhio Highway and Olohena Road.
Heavy rains and floods undermined a 36-inch culvert under the roadway.
State crews have completed site inspections and will cotninuously monitor the road until repairs are complete.
Expect heavier-than-normal traffic on Kuhio Highway in Kapaa Town.
Repairs are in progress.
