Kapiolani Medical Center gets $800,000 donation

Kapiolani Medical Center has reached the half way point in its goal to raise $30 million for a hospital renovation project.

A donation of $800,000 from the James and Abigail Campbell Family Foundation helped the hospital reach the milestone.

Acheck was presented to the hospital during a ceremony Thursday afternoon.
Kapiolani is undergoing $160 million in renovations as part of a 15-year master plan, which includes the construction of a new shared services building.
