A West Oahu recreation club victimized by weekend vandals and thieves is offering a reward, and wants the stolen items back.
The Bushwacker Archery Club of Kapolei is located in an old military site at Fort Barrett. A former bunker used for storage was broken into over the weekend.
"It seems like pointless destruction to me. It’s not a wealthy group of people that participate in this club. We really could use anyone’s help, if they could find, if anyone has any information," said club member John Cerovich.>
The Bushwackers are offering a $500 reward for information that leads to a return of the stolen items, which include three bows that the club purchased for kids to use at the range and at an event this month. The vandals also ripped out a sink in the restrooms and damaged some of the outdoor targets.
