KHON2 first told you about plans to repair the Karsten Thot Bridge in Wahiawa last September.
The work is finally going to start on Monday.
Crews will work from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. They won’t have to close any lanes then.
Crews will return at night, and there could be full closures of the bridge or one lane closed from 9 p.m — 4 or 5 a.m.
Truck drivers should know that the height clearance will be lowered from 14 feet 4 inches to 12 feet until the end of the year.
The nearly $8 million dollar project, which is mostly federally funded, will last till at least next April.
