A fundraiser was held at Tenney Theater, in downtown Honolulu, Sunday. KHON 2′s own showed up on stage.
"We no more beef with Santa. Santa Claus, he’s da kine, brah. He da bomb. He like teach us how for break into people’s houses," quoted morning show host Manolo Morales, from a play to be read by the Honolulu Theatre’s for Youth next holiday season.
Kirk Matthews and his wife, Linda showed up as well. They all acted out excerpts.
Sunday night’s event raised money for the salaries and fees of HTY’s actors and artists.
