A road project that’s been ongoing for two years is nearly complete.
The Kinau Street off ramp improvement project has had multiple delays.
But Queen’s Medical Center says the final step is to install four new street lights and raise pavement curbing for pedestrian safety. Queen’s says the additional work wasn’t part of the original plan.
The cost to make these changes is $400,000 paid for by Queen’s and federal funds.
Queen’s says the new off-ramp lane is expected to be open very soon.
