Question: Hawaiian Electric sent out an alert Thursday urging customers to prepare for potential severe weather this weekend, including possible thunderstorms and strong winds. This inspired me to check the National Weather Service radar for Hawaii, only to find that the Molokai, Kauai and North Big Island radar were out of service. Only the South Big Island weather radar was up. What the heck?! Also there was a notice about discontinuing some part of the statewide forecast. Please look into this.
