Kauai Police Department announced that Kuhio Highway in Wailua is now open.
The highway was closed following a single car collision that occurred at about 2:30 a.m. near the Coconut Marketplace.
Northbound traffic was rerouted to Aleka Loop during the road closure, while motorists heading south were diverted to the Kapa’a Bypass Road.
