Lahaina Noon happening at 12:28 p.m.

Honolulu residents will be in for a special treat when a Lahaina Noon happens at 12:28 p.m.

This is when the sun is directly overhead, causing shadows to disappear below upright objects like poles.

A Lahaina Noon only happens twice a year.

After Friday, the next Lahaina Noon will happen on July 16th.
