The National Weather Service has issued a high surf advisory for all south facing shores.
Forecasters say a large south swell has arrived and was generated by a storm southeast of New Zealand last week. The advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday. Surf is expected to rise to 8 to 12 feet Tuesday.
