Lawmakers propose new agency to oversee Hawaii’s airports

In recent years Hawaii News Now has documented a history of blighted airport facilities, cost over-runs, construction delays and management issues including a taxi bribery scandal.  Those problems prompted the majority of the Senate to pitch a plan that would replace bureaucrats with the Hawaii Airport Authority.
